Very recently, The Fennec has hosted a few baby showers. This type of event has turned out to be a favorite of ours. A baby shower is one of the most special events for an expectant mother, but these events sometimes get overlooked! But we know how special this event can be for friends and family to help celebrate this milestone for mom and baby.
On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, we hosted an expecting mother and her closest friends and family. This event was intimate and allowed this group of people to prepare for this new addition to their lives and celebrate the mother’s journey through pregnancy. It also gave this family an opportunity to guess the baby’s gender and debate baby names.
The room was covered in blue and pink, with balloons and streamers and confetti. The best part was the centerpieces made out of honey pots! The large windows allowed for stunning sunlight to fill the room. A table was eventually piled full of baby gifts, including a crib and loads and loads of diapers. The love and joy in the room was palpable.
The food was delightful as well, with a buffet of finger foods for all of the people to enjoy as they played baby shower games, including veggie platters, finger sandwiches, and delicious cupcakes. Everyone left the event with a full stomach, and a joyful heart. It was the most beautiful occasion.
This day celebrated the beautiful gift of life, which allowed a soon-to-be mother to be with her support system that will carry her through as she embarks on this new chapter in life.
